Our Activities
AKISANY has a vital role to play in providing an ideal setting for the youths who are born and reared in the United States of America to learn the culture and tradition of their ancestral homeland.
This program seeks to raise the level of the existing Akwa Ibom House Fund from $10,000.00 to $80,000.00 before December 2009.

Youth Project
The purpose of this project is to provide educational and leadership opportunities for children, youths, and members to "develop their potentials, creativity, and self fulfillment in order to serve as useful citizens in the community." The youth project aims at:- Raising $5,000.00 in support of Miss Akwa Ibom, USA, pageant activities, hosting, and travels.
- Raising $5,000.00 in support of Arts Exhibition by AKISANY Youth Artists.

Community Outreach Activities
Provide opportunities in the 1st and 2nd Quarters of 2009 for the members to share their views with and ask questions of either the Governor of State of Akwa Ibom, Nigeria, or any other elected government official. -
Fund Raiser for Charity
Organize two fund raisers in the first and second half of 2009 in support of the programs of AKISANY. -
Arts Exhibition/Book & News Medium Presentation
Support the mounting of an exhibition to promote the artistic skills of Akwa Ibom Youths and members. -
Voluntary Service
Voluntary Service Activities in liaison with National Secretariat.
